NEW Horsham boss Hugo Langton has promised immediate changes as he plots to get the side away from the bottom of the table. Langton has stepped up from his role as assistant manager after Justin Luchford quit as manager over the weekend following the side’s latest defeat, a 5-0 FA Trophy loss at Chesham Utd. And describing his appointment as a ‘privilege’ he says he cannot wait for his first game in charge.I’ve had a very busy 24 hours, I’ve barely had time to breath,” Langton said. “There’s a lot to do but I’m very excited by the challenge. I wish it had happened in different circumstances, Justin did his best but decided he didn’t want to do it any more. I think that shows the measure of the man that he’s done what he feels is right for the football club. He’s given me his blessing to take over and he’s a good bloke who will bounce back and be a very successful manager I’m sure. He’d been thinking about it (quitting), I gave him my opinion and tried to talk him into staying but he was adamant and it means I now have the privileged task of taking on the job. Obviously I applied for the job originally when Justin was appointed which was never a problem, but now I’m ready for it, I feel happy so let’s see what we can do.” The new manager has wasted little time stamping his mark on the team. He is currently waiting on clearance from the Ryman League on three new players who could all feature on Tuesday night.
The side face landlords Horsham YMCA in the Sussex Senior Cup, and Langton has promised to field his strongest possible side for a competition he is desperate to do well in. The UEFA A licensed coach is also set to hold a game behind closed doors the following night, Wednesday, where a team of triallists will take on a team from his North Kent Football Academy in a bid to add to his squad. Langton said he was also planning to recall forward Conor Hider from his loan spell at East Grinstead.
The exact details of Luchford’s departure are so far unclear with the club expected to release a joint statement from the former manager and chairman Kevin Borrett shortly.

I get total hammered at a wedding on Saturday and all hell breaks loose.
Anyway ‘Thanks Justin in giving it a go and all the best for the future’ and all the best Hugo and Richard for the rest of the season.
Will there still be protein shakes’
I’ve seen on the conspiracy web site there’s a top secret master plan being hatched not to far away on the other side of the M23 as I type.
Apparently X HFC players are being assembled and put through there paces and are nearly match fit. I see in the Conspiracy Magg they’ve all agreed to play for free.
Anyway looking forward to tomorrow nights clash with YM
COME ON YOU YELLOWSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
