Due to personal and practical issues, Hornets Review will not be hosting match video footage next season.
Whilst I appreciate that this is probably the most popular feature of the website, I will no longer able to commit the time necessary to produce edited
highlights. That, coupled with a likely downturn in my attendance next season has resulted in me making this very difficult decision.
Apologies to everyone, especially our overseas fanbase.
A highlights DVD from last season is, though, likely to be available to purchase from mid-August.

Well, I have to say that I am disappointed but I totally understand your decision.
It must take hours to do what you do and I'm sure the pressures of work and family have to take priority. Thanks for what you've done in the past and let's hope someone else may be able to take up the reins at some stage. Selfish b'stard.

i can probably do some although my camera skills are shocking! i hardly ever get the goals either. maybe someone can video it and give me the memory card for
editing then i hand the card back before the next game?
thanks for all the long hours you've slogged at it in the past mark....a true servant to us all. now go and do the d.i.y! |

Mark, the outside broadcasting unit was a huge commitment and I'm just grateful you carried on as long as you did. I'm sure it will provide a great
source of nostalgia and, because of the period it covers (leaving QS, promotion to the Premier League and the Cup run), it is a document not just of club
history, but also of local history. You should be proud!

Likewise - I just want to add my thanks to Mark for all the time he has spent in the past producing these video memories. As another London based Horsham
fan, this facility has enabled me to catch up on missed games, or just to re-lieve those I did attend. In those many hours of tape there are some real gems
that will live long in the annals of HFC.

you did it. Many, many hours of enjoyment have been had by so many. I'm even sure the the away contingent will miss your valuable efforts, as it was also a
means of them staying in touch with their team.

Thanks for all the kind comments, folks, and once again apologies for letting you all down.
Just one thing though......who said anything about DIY ??? If Mrs HH thought I was giving it all up to pick up a hammer and a drill, she'd buy me a season ticket and drive me to all the matches herself

Same here, I never seem to see many of the goals at games I've attended either!

Echoing the the thoughts of everyone else really, Thank you Mark
My personal favourite video moment has to be Rob F getting in a tantrum after being subbed against Lewes! Absolute genius and well caught on camera! I still go back and watch that every so often now; especially for the rest of the match footage. A truly great feat with all the highlights, much appreciated

Don't like the way John Lines looked at me at the AGM when this matter was raised!
I may take my camera along but couldn't provide the A1 service from HH, anyway I've always had the problem of uploading images (not very well up on all that sort of thing). |
