I have been researching my second book 'When the Comics Went to War' and came across a single page illustrated story from the Hotspur dated 11th January 1969. The Bread and Lard Brigade, tells the fictional story of how the Loamshire Regiment established their tradition of eating bread and lard to celebrate a battle. If HISC are interested I can let you have a file for repro purposes.


Also, I have been given the promotional rights to the first New Hotspur Annual dated 1966. This is a strictly limited edition 750 units slip cased and numbered. The books will sell for £20 a piece, £5 of which will be donated to HISC.
