Sounds great.....
I'm with you FD, the all matches is unclear. However, looking at the total cost I would imagine it has to include every game both, home & away. Not sure what is meant by FREE matchday parking, after all we can't park at Home due to the restrictions. And I have never been charged for away games. Other than that, I reckon I'll be having one........

I very much doubt it includes away matches. I think ALL matches means league and cup matches: all the games played at Gorings Mead. Standard season tickets do
not usually include cup matches, hence the "ALL".

You may have a point Edam..... But........ if you add all the figures, you end up with a total of £527.....a saving of £27......Bargain????????

What does the "Club to account for cost with opposition" bit mean?
I think the "Free Parking" bit means you will probrably be amongst the chosen few allowed to park at the ground

The club would have to cover the entrance fee for cup games as they are "All Pay" and any revenues shared with the opposition.
Yes, you are allowed to park at the ground.

From HR
There are also a limited number of Executive Vice-President passes available that include benefits such as admission to ALL Hornets' first team home fixtures, exclusive seating in the stand, pre-match / half-time and post-match boardroom hospitality, free away coach travel and free matchday parking, all for the cost of £500. For a full list of prices, , That clears that up then..

The EVP ticket is intended to be an all inclusive home season ticket and this will include cup matches, where the club will then meet the entry cost. It
doesn't cover away match entry costs but does provide free transport to such games, where a coach is run.
There will be a limited number of season parking tickets available for purchase once we assess how many we can offer from a H&S perspective. The cost is not yet finalised for those but will be at least the £30-£40 quoted in the EVP illustrated benefit. In essence the board has agreed package of real benefits here worth we believe in the order of £550 and discounted that by 10%. At this time we are only intending to offer 10 of these for the 2009/10 season. With regards to the HISC discount on all season ticket prices, the club is keen that as many HISC members as posssible purchase a season ticket where they can afford to, even if they think they might miss a couple of matches and the difference between doing this and paying on the day is marginal. The discount helps to address this. With regards to the "Matchday 22" from October this is ANY two adults and two children. It could be a family of four but equally could be two fathers and two sons or two mothers and two daughters etc! |

Up til November can I come in for free as 2 x U16?
I won't be buying one this season as I know I'll miss too many games. Also I think the 2 free months for U16 is too much, these will be the easier to get back to watching horsham and for just a few quid a week when they get sh** loads of pocket money these days is very little. I think it's the older ones that might need enticing back imho.

i applaud this move for the most part although as a long standing season ticket holder i wondered on something. i'm really not too fussed but i paid 150
for my season ticket last year. this year it is 162. even though i am also a member of hisc with a five percent discount i am still seeing and increase whereas
normal pay at the turnstile fans are seeing no increase at all. why is it that only season ticket prices are going up?
i still think its a bargain and will be renewing anyway but surely increasing my ticket is wrong when all others have been frozen or reduced. |

Damo1176 wrote:It also covers the pre season home friendly game.... and allows access to AGM's etc £162 (less a £5 discount for HISC members) = £157. If you're really bothered to break even, it's 17.5 home league games. I look at it more of a convienience. All I need to bring is enough cash for a few beers and a programme without fumbling about at the turnstiles.

Fair point FD, let me see the fixture list and then I'll make a decision...I'm not sure I'll make many pre-season games and then in the new year
I'm away for a while and will miss a fair chunk.

The 2 months free is good but efectivly will work if the under 16s know that it is happening which is down to the word of fans and good advertising of the club
now we are back in horsham

Letting the under sixteens in free for the first two months of the season is a good ploy but in the past they were only given free entry if accompanied by a
paying adult, if this is not done will we have enough stewards in place to keep a watchful eye on these potential troublemakers (not all of them just the odd
few, I am thinking back to the ones who caused trouble with Brian the Horn)

I don't think that the BTH kids would be the problem. To be honest a couple of them managed to get down to Worthing quite a bit last season and turned up
at a few away matches. I would hope that the ones concerned have seen the error in their ways etc.....
What might be tricky is a small minority of the 12-16 year olds who come down without a parent and see it as a chance to run riot. causing a ripple effect with the rest.

nothing like a bit of wild speculation and scaremongering is there. the bth situation was delt with easily. our crowd self police's itself most of the time
so what difference would an extra green jacket make?
