Having returned from his holiday this week, John Maggs made it his first task to persuade Russell to stay at the club and he is pleased to announce that
Russell has agreed to sign for the new season. John will be talking to Yinka Salaam and Williams Peauroux this week as he looks to get his squad finalised for
the new season.

This is good news indeed, I would say that when Russell is playing at his best the team actually seems to play that much better as a result.
This years squad seems to have a much more rounded look about it at the moment, lets hope we have an injury free season for a change, we certainly had some pretty nasty ones last year to deal with. Is there any news regarding Andi Marfleet, is he still with us for the coming season? I sincerely hope so as he was a major plus with injuries the players incurred last term, I am sure if it wasn't for his quick action and attention to detail we might well have seen some players careers coming to an abrupt end.
