Going back to our victory, Terry Dodd deservedly took the MOM award for two goals while new boys Luke Hugget and Jack Rowe Hurst both scored excellent goals soon after coming on as second half subs. Many players could have secured the MOM, I was very impressed with our other new boy Graham Martin on his debut, he showed plenty of nice touches in his defensive midfield role which gave Joe Shelley freedom to play in his more forward role in what can best be described as his best game for some time!!

agree with your summary in general jim. could of been a few others for mom but for two games in a row I have felt terry's work rate has been fantastic. he almost played a free role up front yesterday (certainly for the first 50 minutes or so) and even at nil nil was our best player. interesting dom's comments in the wsct about the new boy in the holding role freeing up joe shelley. that is exactly what happened and both had really good games. looks a good signing which gave the team more going forward and also some extra steel in winning the ball.

I would just like to give Charlie and Ashley a bit of credit too. we look fairly solid in central defence. to have only conceded 10 goals in 17 games  says a lot about the unsung players who are going about it in consistent fashion week in, week out.

a great three points against a team who are more than capable of taking points off anyone else.

job done for another weekend.
