I agree with Minster Hornet's post above. I'm suprised that he's decided to quit so early on in the season but I can only imagine he never thought managing a club like us, with such financial constraints would be such a challenge. Having never spoken to him I can't really offer my views on him personally but from all accounts i've heard and read was that he was a man who was extremely determined not to be beat and would do everything he could to ensure our survival in the league. For me I think the pressure was a bit too much and his inexperience showed. I don't believe his statement that he's quiting to allow Horsham time to recover, I believe its so that his own reputation doesn't suffer any further.

I would have expected that he would have seen it through until the end of November at least but to leave after we ship 10 goals in two matches just seems a little bit like the mark of a quitter. I'm suprised no ones mentioned the coinsidence that his brother left the club in the same week...
