:(

Oh and sorry Pete :(

Back to the origanal point of the thread, I don't think this current lack of transfer activity shows a lack of ambition, we all know as JM does that we need to strengthen in a few places but we shouldn't panic buy and waste money just because we now have some. Our team is doing fine and I think we can do well with only a few additions. Our problem has always been our inconsistency despite the ability of our players so perhaps something could be invested in trying to sort out why this is?

I don't think any of us want a return to a few years back when JM was forced to sign anyone and everyone who became available, remember the likes of Suleymanoglu, Davis, Davies, Adeniyi (not sure why he didn't do better than he did), John etc.

The board and management have never let us down, they are in a position to know what's best so I say let them get on with it.

I would add though that the next few years will be an interesting time for us. I know Pete brought this up on another thread but this is going into unchartered territory for a lot of us and I for one will have to question just how ambitious I want us to be. Don't get me wrong, I couldn't stop supporting this club but the reasons that made me start supporting it in the first place may no longer be applicable if we keep heading higher. My reasoning for supporting Horsham to my league supporting friends and others who ask why may no longer become valid so I personally would hope that the club's ambitions don't become more important than what it is that makes this club great to a lot of supporters.
