Some interesting points in this thread.

We always felt we had a good bargaining chip with HDC over the sale of QS for housing - that is until we were so cash strapped that we had to let the site go because of the many false dawns provided by HDC.

At this stage, we have a similar situation - instead of cash strapped we are cash strapped and homeless which is why we should indeed hold onto the Holbrook asset until we have some more concrete news on a new home.

Housing is still a big issue from Central Govt. and there are huge numbers of houses still required here in the SE. Any infill, small development within the confines of the horsham town will always get granted becuase it is a much easier decision to make than sticking the same number of houses in more controversial places. I agree that the future of Holbrook is certainly involving housing.

I haven't got a clue as to what is happening with the negotiations with HDC but I do hope that we are maintaining the pressure on HDC and that some good news comes out soon about our new home.
