I would guess that, of the current houses in Southwater, 90% of them were built post 1960 or so (yes, I'm sure this isn't particularly accurate) but it just shows how it can suit some people to buy and live in one of these houses and then scream blue murder when further enhancements/improvements/development is planned.

Quite right about the RSPCA building - I mean they do a good job all round but it reminds me of seeing a nice large turd left in the middle of the street - rather incongruous.

Still, when did right and wrong ever get in the way of people blocking HFC from surviving as a local community entity?
