Says on the Ashford website that Alex Haddow's challenge was late. That is ludicrous. It was the closest to a perfect tackle I have ever seen and Alex took the ball totally cleanly right under my nose. The sending off was lunatic. The referee was diabolical and only bettered by the linesman who was the worst I have ever seen in all my years of watching football. Never up with play and a series of bizarre decisions. How is it the officials can be so diabolical yet it is the club that suffers as a result? How is it possible to have Respect for people who have cheated the spectators who have paid good money to see a game of football? A penalty that was outside the area, a goal that never crossed the line, a sending off for a clean tackle, offsides that so clearly were not .... Instead of leaving the game happy with a great performance and a fine win, I left totally pissed off that the match officials had made a pig's ear of things and it will be the club that gets hit, both in pocket and reputation for their incompetence.

But, as ever, nothing will done about it and the same people will be back at Gorings Mead in the future stuffed up with their own importance. Truly shocking. And depressing.
