All professional footballers are the same. What Lampard is doing know is nothing different to what Steven Gerrard was trying to do a few years ago when he had everyone convinced he was leaving Liverpool. I really don't know that Lampard has thought this through. He has chosen Inter Milan "becuase of Jose Mourinho" - which is really not that clever as no one can forsee the future as Mourinho could get sacked if he doesn't get Inter the Champions League trophy, and then what will Frank do? I can understand him wanting more than the likes of Shevchenko and Ballack, because he is more highly valued, but that doesn't mean he should get a five-year deal, which will take him to 35. If he is so confident that he is going to still be playing first team football at that age, they he should sign a four-year deal and get the extension after two or three years.

I won't be judging him atm, seeing as I really don't know the full story, and I don;t trust ANYTHING the papers have been saying in recent weeks (like the Robinho for £48M). And, btw, I have heard that Frank Lampard weighs 8 pounds less than Steven Gerrard image
