Do you know what the really upsetting thing is now? They're teaching them young. John Bostock, Palace youth sensation, coveted by Barcelona, Chelsea and Man Utd. Best of all, he's a Palace fan, couldn't wait to play for his boyhood club, this lad was had the potential to become a Palace hero, sign his contract and after a couple of years if he wanted to move onto bigger and better things we'd command a huge fee and everyone is happy.

But, at the age of 16 and with Spurs dangling carrots in front of him, he decided not to sign a contract with us, yes, the boyhood palace fan who "loves the club" and has had a season ticket with the club for years, decides to follow the money(obviously the biggest wage we've ever offered anyone under 21 wasn't enough for the greedy sod and his leechy family). So, we're in a position whereby if we don't agree a fair fee with Spurs, it goes to a tribunal. Spurs didn't offer what we felt was a good enough offer (he has captained England all the way through the youth teams, drawn praise from respected pundits and we received a 900k offer from Chelsea for him when he was 14)

So, the tribunal, led by Lord Triesman(a Spuds fan) surely they'd treat us fairly, only 2 months ago was Trevor Brooking prancing around some youth acadmy signalling his and the FA's intentions to Pull youth development together. We were awarded 700k, rising to 1.25mil on appearances. Spurs could sell him To Barcelona tomorrow for 10mil if they wanted to. What a joke.

Where is the incentive for lower league clubs to have acadamies if the FA give Carte blanche to bigger teams to tap up and poach talented youngsters compensating the clubs who nurtured and developed them with pathetic compensation awards.

This has left me fuming, so much so i've written to Fifa, Uefa, the FA, the football league, the premierleague and the Secretary of State for Media and Sport. I also wrote to FSF, an organisation for fans by fans who are trying to tackle the loss of character, identity and values in our once great game. Guess who the only people to reply were? FSF. They want to put together an article for the next issue of their magazine and want to know if can do a peice regarding this situation for them.

We've been sold out by the FA, we're being sold out by the players we've supported for years, we're being sold out by our own clubs and our own countries. Look at Luton, being his with 10 point deductions here there and everywhere, why? some pathetic form of punishment for being in administration, yet instead of helping them and supporting them the FA won't be content until they see them relegated to the conference. They do seem to care it's peoples jobs on the line. If it's not the premiership they don't care. The premierleague and those that play in it are so big, that the FA have lost their bottle and do everything they can to avoid the wrath of them.

I could go on and on and on and on, but sitting at my desk at work i can feel myself losing it and getting angry. How did this game of ours sell out so much?

Now Stateside and watching soccer y'all.
