Slavery...slavery my hairy backside.

Pele put it eloquently the other day and said if the players did not have a contract and were forced to play for no money, then that would be slavery.

The fact that they do have a contract, are being paid but obviously don't think they are being paid enough...that's not slavery in my book. That's either greed or using a poor agent who has not negotiated a decent contract in the first place...but of course the agent got his whack and will get another whack on the next one, and is probably the person responsible for stirring it up in the first place.

I don't care how much these guys get paid but the way it gets washed out and resolved in public is a pretty poor show.
