Not knowing the results until this morning,what a supprise to see our "favourte team" bottom of the league.I know it may only be until tomorrow night,and they will be up there at the end,but today we are above them.

Good team spirit and attitude was evident from yesterdays first league game, and the way the team responded from the two early goals was very encouraging.Certainly saw enough positives in yesterdays performance to suggest we have a good squad of players to build on. Supporters were in fine voice so well done and keep it up.

A shame to lose the first game but not a dsisaster - it will take a few games for the team to gel and understand each other.

To be fair, I can't really criticise anyone for being able to provide a video of the game, can I?

I mean, I wouldn't like to mention the fact that we used to see EVERY game highlights at one stage, should I?

Not a great start but last season we lost 1-4 to Bury so some improvement? There were many occasions last season when we played worse than yesterday so hopefully we can expect some better results later. I only hope that we can keep a nucleus of the side together primarily goalkeeper, Jamahl, Ryan and Tony. I just hate seeing so many new faces as per last season.

Who on earth starts a DISCO when we are 2 -1 down? The outcome was instantaneous - lessons learned methinks!!!!

On the positive side, the result was not important as the lads demonstrated that we will not be roll overs this season. 2 of the goals were against the run of play and we saw a decent game of football with promise of more to come
