I wonder if the un-named league club could possibly be Dagenham & Redbridge as they had people attending matches at Worthing last season, if that is the
case then I hope he fairs better than the last Horsham player that tried his luck there.
My concern is that if Sam does leave will that mean young Jack could also be on his way.
As far as other centre halves go, apart from Andy Howard who I would like to see back, I think I read somewhere that John Maggs was expecting some old HFC
players showing an interest in coming back for pre season training,
could that possibly be one of Johns favourites Tom Graves. On the other hand he could always play Ben Andrews at centre back if pushed or even Russell Eldridge
assuming he re-signs for us.

I was under the impression that Sam's Dad had said unless he got contact from a Championship or above side that he'd remain running the family business
and play locally non-league, I know the Daggers are rubbish but they are not flying that high either.

But if he was to go - then I would hope to god we don't do any favours. He is our captain, and the only player deemed worthy enough to be given a contract, and we don't want to get rid. Seeing as Lee Farrell was valued at £2,500 by a team (??) who no longer wanted his services, I would want a great deal more than that. |

I had to laugh that the story on th official website was dated the 6th June and it said that nothing would be decided until John got back from his holiday at
the end of the month.
