What amazing pictures. Not sure if the memory is heart-warming or heart-breaking.
Still, looking forward : great that we seem to be hanging on to our players for next season! And at least we'll be back in Horsham. Bring it on (after a long hot summer)!
For I'd rather stay here, with all the madmen,
Than perish with the sad men roaming free... |

eric thanks for posting the link up. it makes me sad looking at those pictures but brings back so many fantastic memories as well. i am excited about our
future but i think it will be a very long time before we play home games in a place with as much character as queen st. a proper football ground that i feel
priveliged to have spent so much time in.
what a shame one of us hadn't won the lottery prior to the ground being sold and rebuilt the main stand and put the roof back on the cowshed. just for the record..it seems most fans of other clubs absolutely loved the east stand as of course we did. wouldn't it be great if we had something similar at any new place! just a thought,a wish and a prompt! |

Great memories for us all brilliantly captured in this set of pictures, I particularly liked the one taken from the club shop inside the long stand, excellent
photo.
Do you think Rabbler would like to purchase one of the houses for old times sake? It will be interesting if he comes down to the YMCA fixture this coming season & whether he will put some more pictures on alongside the others. |

Did anyone notice the spirit of the old blokes taking a sharp intake of breathe in the East (long) stand? Hopefully they will return when the club gets back
to YMCA.
From a personal perspective, fond memories of a wet evening game organising 'running games' in the deserted Cow Shed with my grand children. |
