So any news yet on if we have made an approach for anyone and if we are actually going to have a keeper for Saturday?

It says on hornets review that JM is pursuing 2 keepers with Ryman and conference south experience!

Sorry....I sort of hid it in the Seuke Glove thread.......apparently it's the Whyteleafe keeper called Tolfrey. I think. (let's not forget the Ryman
League has more than one division eh!)

Rob TOLFREY (Goalkeeper): Joined in 2007 from Crawley having had a spell at Kent League side, Beckenham Town. Also appeared as a youngster at Chipstead. Quick,
agile and showing a lot of promise.

Could well be! There was only 2 games in the Ryman Div 1, and Whyteleafe won 1-0, could fill in with the quite impressive quote from JM, that being Tolfrey
keeping a clean sheet.
He hasn't kept many clean sheets and conceded quite a few goals they are also quite low down in the league, but i s'pose with a good defence in front of him he could be quite useful!

The above appears on SuperLeafe's fan's forum. And JM could not speak to him until today, possibly even tomorrow morning. A I missing something? |

And we could pinch one Carlo Castrechino if desperate, "Carlo can play down the right, either in midfield or as right-back".
Is that why we used to play him at left back? |

Probably!
Anybody know who hornets nest is, anybody claim to be him? |

It is believed that Hornets Nest has Whyteleafe connections and is trying to stir things up. John Maggs certainly had no contact with the goalkeeper until the
seven days notice expired last night.

Yes he did play well, great replacement for Seuke, as you said he made a great save in the first half!

Can only endorse what others have already said, brilliant save first half scooping the ball over from top corner, his kicks were accurate from hand & had
plenty of distance on them, didn't use the short throw out too often but I suppose if you have only met the team in the dressing room having got the
clearance to play a couple of hours before kick off then you wouldn't know the way we normally play, but he certainly looks another good signing.
