I am hoping to be in a position to getting the kit sponsorships up and running by the end of this week.

We will be looking at the split sponsorship.

There is one or two items that I will be clarifying at a meeting with HFC representatives on Thursday.

On the subject of kit sponsorship, has anything come of the idea floated at the HISC meeting to subdivide kit sponsorship so as to involve more people and make it more affordable at the same time?

How do we get to sponsor shirts this season, suppose we have to wait for the squad to be finalised? Is there any way around not charging individuals the VAT, after all the club is not exactly providing 'goods or services' it's just another way of donating isn't it?

Whilst I'm on the subject, could the club consider enhancing the ball sponsorship so that it might attract more people? Perhaps the sponsor could...

This is an electronic acknowlegement of your £5.00 donation to the club. In the annual accounts we will account for as misc revenue and not ticket income. Does this make you feel better!

Brian - and also the burger van. Allegedly. Not to mention misbehaving in the bar and generally being a little unpleasant. They really didn't come to watch football at all, it seemed like it was something to do instead of being a nuisance around the Carfax.

It was, however, a small number - from around New Street as best I recall - and the club always reserves the right to refuse admittance.

nothing like a bit of wild speculation and scaremongering is there. the bth situation was delt with easily. our crowd self police's itself most of the time so what difference would an extra green jacket make?

I don't think that the BTH kids would be the problem. To be honest a couple of them managed to get down to Worthing quite a bit last season and turned up at a few away matches. I would hope that the ones concerned have seen the error in their ways etc.....

What might be tricky is a small minority of the 12-16 year olds who come down without a parent and see it as a chance to run riot. causing a ripple effect with the rest.

Letting the under sixteens in free for the first two months of the season is a good ploy but in the past they were only given free entry if accompanied by a paying adult, if this is not done will we have enough stewards in place to keep a watchful eye on these potential troublemakers (not all of them just the odd few, I am thinking back to the ones who caused trouble with Brian the Horn)

The 2 months free is good but efectivly will work if the under 16s know that it is happening which is down to the word of fans and good advertising of the club now we are back in horsham

Fair point FD, let me see the fixture list and then I'll make a decision...I'm not sure I'll make many pre-season games and then in the new year I'm away for a while and will miss a fair chunk.

i applaud this move for the most part although as a long standing season ticket holder i wondered on something. i'm really not too fussed but i paid 150 for my season ticket last year. this year it is 162. even though i am also a member of hisc with a five percent discount i am still seeing and increase whereas normal pay at the turnstile fans are seeing no increase at all. why is it that only season ticket prices are going up?
i still think its a bargain and will be renewing anyway...

For letting in under 16's free during August & September. Hopefully it will encourage some of the many youngsters we lost last season to come back and support us again.
